^ Ah, okay, I misunderstood the original post when you said "FX Teleport won't do it for me"... you meant that it's not working properly for you.
The first thing to check out when you're using a slave is whether the glitches are in the entire audio stream or just in the particular instrument you're running off the slave. If the glitch interrupts ALL audio, then it's probably still a CPU issue. If it's just on the one instrument, it's a network issue.
Assuming it is a network issue and your CPU is stable on the master, what host are you using? You have to jump through a few extra hoops to get it working with a program like Fruityloops, for example, because it doesn't have automatic delay/latency compensation. You'll have to check the latency on FX Teleport and compensate manually with something like SampleSlide.
If you are using Cubase or you've done any necessary compensation, try monitoring the CPU on your slave and see if you're reaching 100%. That again should tell you immediately if the problem is with your network or if the slave simply isn't a powerful enough machine (Celerons, for example, just won't cut the mustard most of the time).
A 100 Mb network *should* be sufficient to run at least a handful of networked plugins (I used a 100 Mb switch originally). Are you sure that your master, slave, AND network switch are all 100 Mb capable, or is it possible that the slave is an old PC with a 10 Mb NIC?
If you've verified all that and are still having problems, then I suggest you run some network diagnostics because it isn't likely a problem with FX Teleport.
