holy shit that sucks. i hate the 401 with a passion. hope you guys make it in time.

UPDATE: We won't make it. My dad is a courier, he was stuck on there for 4 hours earlier when there wasn't snow squalls.

He messaged some dude he works with via their Blackberries, he's stuck near Tilbury on the 401 going eastbound, and has been for almost 2 hours. Backroads anywhere near the 401 have all been turned into detours, and due to snow squalls they're a) not plowed, b) completely stand-still traffic.

We're fucked.

I'm sorry everybody.
