Just got back to college after a long n AWESEOME night (except for the 3 hours spent sleeping at the greyhound bus station!)
Walked in a bit late..when G&D were playing Arcadia. I have to agree with the people who think G&D were 'just ok'..watched them once earlier n they were waaayy better then!
But Markus...OMG!! I have never heard him spin...n I didnt expect much from him(dont know y?)....but he was just great!!! Can't wait to see him again!!
PS: this guy comes up to me and asks me..'Do you know who the DJ is?'..n I said 'Markus Schulz'..n hes like..'Is he German?'..n I was like 'No'. So apparently this guy was just 'testing' my music knowledge! Do I look like a non-TA or something???!!
What does a TA look like? Maybe he really was clueless.

I got there around midnight. No line outside. I was glad cause didn't wanna freeze my ass of. This was the first time i've ever seen G&D. They were pretty good. Not what i expected but i enjoyed listening to them. I had know idea how short josh gabriel was. :-) Now Markus..........His Set Was Da BBBBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I saw him earlier this year when he opened up for Nu Nrg and it was kool but didn't do much for me. Last night it was like OMG.........I'm in heaven. Great track list. mixing was impeccable. He Played "Naranja".......I had no idea that he played hard tracks like that!
Met some really kool TA's. Kadomony, it was nice meeting u last night, Brian Good seeing u, Big Mike.....It was kool seeing u.
I haven't slept yet...............http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/editpost.php?s=&action=editpost&postid=5362663#
what an amazing night, g/d were awesome and markus was just amazing, deffinately the best set i heard from him. Nice party'n with all the regulars and some new ta's,you guys know who you are.
lyss ya i got home ok lol
This was the first time that my husband and I were at club spirit and first time to hear G&D and Markus Schulz. G&D set was slow at first but picked up about 1/2 way through. Markus Schulz was great, little harder than I expected but great. The set up of the club we both liked and were glad it was not crowded like Crobar last Sat. Major additude from the bouncers and the owner of the club. MY husband is a great glowstick dancer and had a great time dancing to his favorite DJ Markus Schulz, shared sticks and everything. 2 hours into Schulz'z set one of the bouncers came and took the glowsticks without and reason. We asked about getting them back but got more crap. Overall we will not go back to that club unless there is a major DJ we want to see. Otherwise we will see any DJ in othetr venue. This Club was not created for the raver like the website said. We are clean clubers and we still got shit. We were so mad we left without hearing the rest of Schulz's set.

yeah, the bouncers seemed to have a little more attitude than usual last night. but ah well, it happens.
Last night was definitely a great night. G&D sets really vary in so many ways... (recorded live sets, party experiences) And last night was awesome. I was having a lot of fun last night. I thought it was extra cheesy of me to sing along with Tracking Treasure Down, but I've been feeeling that song alot and was sooo happy G&D dropped it.
Markus Schulz.. Markus Schulz effed me in the ass so hard last night. His tracklisting was amazing.. his set was amazing.. I've never really been into his CD's and here and there, his GBDJ sets are okay, but last night... Markus Schulz left a lasting impression on me.. beautiful last night indeed.
Blank & Jones @ Avalon tonight!!

As a philly-trancer; Armin in sept was my first NYC outing; and I noticed at the Roxy for PVD that same thing, around 4 or 5 am bouncers were walking around confiscating glowsticks; I myself have 6color change led's from Brookstone which are $25/piece so they would have had to pry them from my dead hands if they wanted them... I wonder if that is part of some kind of law or regulation; where after a certain point the become "drug paraphenilia"... lame agreed!!!
My fav tracks of the night were Arcadia vs. Do what you want; and Markus dropped Nalin & Kane "Open your eyes" and I had tears! In my experience; I've never heard a DJ play that out...reminds me to order that record!
There was a solarstone track (I think) he dropped; what was it??

it's all part of the rave act. Things like that are considered things that would insinuate that it's a rave. aand if that's the case there has to be drugs......making the owner of the club liable........it's all BS.
