Prohibition was a little different because they made something that was legal before illegal, as a result of the high society complaining. Last time I checked, E was always illegal (well, except for the brief period of time when it was first invented), and its use is looked down upon by the general populationa as well as the "snobbish elites" (although those people snort coke by the kilos).

Unless you're referring to Tiesto, in which case I say, he may be a jukebox, but calling him a "thing" is going a little far.

I was just talking about the general idea of it all... banning things because of undesireable behaviour....might do a little something... but doesn't do much

I don't think Pett was trying to make Tiesto seem bad, his point is that it is wrong to start censoring people or possibly not let them into Canada, ala what is happening with Fifty Cent right now.

I feel the same way, it is wrong to start stopping people from entering the country because of what they say in their music, whether it be hip hop or edm.
It sets a dangerous precident.
