I once put a frozen chicken breast in the microwave to defrost and completely forgot about it. It just sat in the microwave for a few days, possibly a week; I can't remember. It started stinking after a couple days and I was like "WTF is that smell?!?!". I did not discover the chicken until at least 3 or 4 days after the stink started and the whole time I was thnking it was my cats, as I had just taken them into my home.
When I finally found the chicken it was the most disgusting thing I'd ever seen in my life. I threw away the plate it had been sitting on as well.
Makes me gag just thinking about it.
