Test results show closer to 6Hz - 20kHz +/- 0.5dB.
Since the human hearing bottoms out at 20Hz(Source) I dont think it will matter much. Much of the believed poor sound quality of the ipod comes from the cheap heaphones that come with it.

p00000nanied. but iPod dont have radio reciver, microphone, line-in, video-out (like the zen), or the appeal with the "I dont want an Ipod, every damn kid has one of those things now, they must suck" crowd.
