i was 20 mins late for a meeting today cause i slept in (like i do everyday) and came in and high fived the boss and sat down like it was cool to be late

where do you work?

edit: i have a pretty fun job but this week has been kind of a pain bc the other assistant left for italy and the prez is there as well so i'm the only one left to man the exec office- and while i do have things to do, it's a pain in the ass being chained to my desk (he hates it when the other assistant isn't there to pick up his calls and now that's me this week) normally, i just do shopping, travel arrangements and expense reports and more shopping.. it's great cuz i can chat online, go on TA, meebo, etc, whenever i want and no one says anything to me bc i work for the prez and he dont give a fugg..

i work for a sheet metal company. so basically construction but i dont work outside on the job sites. i work inside fabricating material for the outside guys. look at ur duct and if u see any elbows or weird ass fittings. thats what i make all day by hand.

Today's mission at work was to get the highest score: http://www.birdcheck.co.uk/whackthepenguin.htm . I literally mean that, everybody was logged into this site trying to get they highest. mine was 593!

At a point i was doing some work that needs to be finished...eventually. a site manager comes in and sees me working. He yells out, "when we say will be at a miniumum we mean it!!! Everybody go home!" Life is good.

I can't complain. I work for a company of alcoholics. Nobody gives a shit what you do, what you wear, what you say. My boss starts meetings by saying "how the FUCK is everyone doing today? I'm hung over." All people care about here is their paycheck and when the next company booze fest is. I feel for those of you with shit jobs. I used to to be there myself.
