To Swamper: Jeah i know sharing is a big thing & it takes up a lot of
work. Know you are busy with all sorts of things. Just like Vector, the man is always busy, poor guy Thanx for helping us out a while ago on RMF with the server and some scripts.

So you are also getting a new server for the forums? Cool! I know the forum is very crowded these days. Some people are getting pissed. You cant access the site normal to read things.
Good servers are expensive, i know. Vector sure a good deal with his hosting agreement.

To Twilochick: Sorry, wasnt trying to insult you in any way. I've heard of smiley's But still, people on RMF arent banned for no reason. Maybe Tiesto14 was a mistake, but you cant always talk to ALL the moderator's first to ban a member. If a moderator feels like banning, if he got good reasons, he can ban a member. In the Tiesto14 case: i think people told him to stop & i think if people you pm dont react, maybe they dont WANT to react. Then don't send another 20 pm's.
Members of RMF are NOT expected to share anything. Just try to be part of the forums. Give good replys that add something! Make up some reviews! Help other people out! Be nice to eachother! Just don't only come for the downloading and replying 'thanx' to get passed lockdown. I think a 'user agreement' wont cure things... you just cant hide behind rules & regulations.
File sharing is nowadays a big part of RMF, but that part is declining day by day. We're moving out of the sharing, into a new direction. If the members like it or not.....

To Tiesto14: Jeah those were my words, that was my post. I'm not ashamed by it! Dude, try to understand; i WANT to help you and i CAN'T do anything about it (i'm not the only moderator you know!)!! Why can't you see that? I am really trying to help you and get you back on RMF, but you don't seem to understand that. With this language i don't think we'll get anywhere...
And i can say this again and again: there-is-no-RMF-blacklist!! Only
one moderator got a private blacklist! You can see it as a list of people he dislikes. Hell, everyone got people he/she dislikes. But that does NOT give him the right to ban those people!

And again, it's NOT about with what people you've shared this or that set. I don't care about that.
Also i don't say TA & RMF are the same. I like TA more for the fun & the joking around and also the good discussions, but i also like RMF, cause thats where i started. People on TA don't act like kids, i also didn't say that.
But i dont feel like talking and reacting on you anymore. I tried to be reasonable, but hey, you wont believe me...

To Quickstep: No thanx Someone should try to explain the situation. Crappy circumstances? What crappy circumstances? I'm here on TA for quite some time, i love it here

no offence to anyone, just a couple of thoughts.
first of all, to me, TA seems to be the most friendly forum on the net. it's the atmosfere, or whatever. i don't know why, but i never bothered registering anywhere else, not on rmf, nor on trance.nu, or etc. and i found those sites way before TA. this is probably the biggest international trance forum on the net. good job, swamps!

second: just wondering, it appears to me that there are no problems with leechers on this site. people on the forums are very generous to share whatever music they have and they are willing to open up their ftps to other users, thanks for that. mr. swamper too, has a couple of gigs of quality stuff on his servers available to everyone, although it's not always accessible-we do have more than 6500 users here. just something to think about.
