Since when does throwing out U.N. inspectors count as, "leverage"?
First they throw them out, and than when they agree to take them back in, it will look like a concession they made.

The inspectors are there for a reason and they're not barter material; I think that's the point.
Iran has no business negotiating with something that's not theirs only to try and hand it back as an offer?!
I agree, but US has rediculed UN during its Rape of Iraq, how can you expect Iran to take UN and its inspectors seriously?
These inspectors found nothing in Iraq and they said that loud, but still Iraq was raped by US.

Why doesn't the UN have weapons inspectors touring US or UK nuclear installations, why do we treat Iran like a special case?

Sicen when does the U.S care about what the U.N says or does?it was the same U.N that told Bush that there was no WMD and no signs of bio and chemcial weapons in Iraq, but yet they gave the U.N a big finger and went ahead with the invasion with no support from the world(oh sorry except poland ). It is just funny how the Americans use the name of U.N for their own benefits.

Not everything is Bush related HT... If we actually stayed on topic, it's not the U.S. that's giving the warning...
The U.N. is a toothless wonder filled with corruption so lets not be putting them on a pedistal either...
Oh and you're contradicting yourself btw...first you're saying the U.S. gave the U.N. the finger and then they use the U.N. for their benefit?
So which is it?

ogvh, i think key points in that article are :
"Iran is pressing ahead with plans to enrich uranium for nuclear fuel in the face of opposition from the U.S., Europe and Israel"
and "Where it is going to be most difficult to make the case is in the public arena"
its not saying that there is no case against iran, if thats what you were trying to imply.
It's like deja-vu, all over again

Because they already have WMDs.
Also because Iran is branded 'An axis of Evil' by the evil Bush.
