i saw oakenfold for the first time at creamfields last year, his set was rubbish, pvd and ferry blew him away

oakie is completely shit. His mixing has always been bad any the only reason his sets from the late 90s are good is because he was one of the first djs to play trance like we hear it today.

ive seen him twice.. both times were good but nothing great. i saw felix da housecat, sharam (deep dish) and hernan cattaneo at those shows and they stole the shows without a doubt. oakie was the headliner but didnt quite measure up to the djs before him.
i'd say give it a shot. around here at my age you dont get many chances so if thats all there is to see, i'll go anyway.

I saw Oakenfold this summer in CLEVELAND of all places and it was insane and extremely enjoyable.
At UMF7 last year, I thought he blew hard. In fact, at one point he sat down during the set.
He is a fickle fellow.
