vancouver is an icredible city....except for the fact that it has a terrible party scene....but what the party scene lacks, the city makes up in every other way possible....plus, whistler is only 2 hours out of vancouver

Montreal has the best of both worlds... the vibe, the people, the scenery, the clubs... eat it bitches!

Honestly, this is Canada:

Montreal
Toronto
Vancouver

That's it...

Hello Montreal friends!

It has only been a few weeks since our toronto crew made it up there and enjoyed your hospitality on NYE.

I have a few questions about this list.

First on the montreal side...

I am a firm believer that the reason "no turning on red" is acceptible as i kills no one, is as a result of your "jaywalking is acceptible" rules.I am open to debate on this issue but found this rule very annoying.

Secondly on the toronto side...

What is the "oh good its monday attitude?" and why is it attributed to toronto?

And If i may make one addition on each side...

For montreal-Happy hour, without a doubt the greatest thing we discovered about that city.

For Toronto-The film festival kicks ass!

hey bro,

Turning on red is not permitted on the island of Montréal, like NYC for example.

Too many people in the streets at all times. In the winter its less obvious, but come back when it gets a bit hotter and you will understand.

Turning on red is permitted in the rest of the province.

People often say, have fun in MOntréal, work in Toronto... thats maybe where he got the "oh good its monday attitude".

Thanks for the explanation!

I happen to love both cities, despite their flaws.

TORONTO

The Good

Y - Warmer weather
Y YEAH THAT'S ME!!! -Lots of former Montrealers live there
Y Raptors are dying, and the jays suck unless TO buys the best players. - Best NBA and MLB pro teams in Canada
X Leafs suck, go habs! - Second-best hockey team in Ontario
Y If bilingual, they check your pulse, you're hired!
Y - Lots of jobs
Y - Great variety of ethnic food
x pain in the ass to drive behind - Streetcars
Y - More high-end shopping
Y Big DJs spin here Sat nights, MTL on Sundays (WTF?) -
Better concerts and theatre
X It's just a fucking hot dog
- Street food
X Look at me I'm an attention whore!
- Pinball Clemons
Y wine is better grown further south
- LCBO's wine selection
X I thought Carrey was from Calgary
- Home of two great comedians, Mike Myers and Jim Carrey (They both left as soon as they could...).

The Bad

Y Montreal: you work to live, Toronto: you live to work
- The "oh good it's Monday!" attitude Y - Traffic
X Not worse than MTL unless Buffalo wind
- Pollution
Y Salaries' adjusted - High housing costs
Y pussies, but never used during an ice storm like MTL
- Needing the military to remove snow
Y - Centre of universe (which is apparently a giant black hole) attitude
Y - Hated by all other Canadians
Y Never had enough Expos coverage
- Home of TSN, the Toronto Sports Network
Y Just step over them - Homeless problem in downtown
X Now this I'm curious - Women wear tennis shoes to work
Y I'm in Aurora, 40km regular trek to the Guvernment - The never-ending suburbs (is Buffalo part of Toronto yet?)
X He did more good than current mayor. - Mel Lastman
