Frankly, I don't hear anything that special about this track... and I'm having hard time believing this will be remembered as one of the AoT classics later on despite people throwing tens around here... This might have worked better 10 years ago...
Anyway, gotta agree with Skip about Cygnus X's remix of Easter Island. Now, there's a tune.
heh, i gotta agree with you on your view of persia. listened to it only once though but it didn't sound amazing at all. i didn't like the vocals and the tune didn't really sound that good at all, just pretty boring and bland IMO.
It just sounds like a 10 years old remasterised tune for me :/

Are you sure Cygnus X remix (6:57) is the one you like instead of Original mix (8:38)? The versions got mixed up at least on the cover of the CD single. If yes, so be it then.

i for one am sure it's the cygnus x remix i prefer. i like it much much better than the original. i can't even remember how the original is like as i don't like it nearly as much as the cygnus x remix. dunno if Kinde's got them mixed up though.
usually tunes like this don't get that much attention but since the majority of the releases today are total garbage even an average tune like Persia is seen as something special.
big propz to Simon for giving us some light in the darkness.

I have no idea what your talking about i have Easter Island on Vinyl, the mixs are different BUT no by much its your typical tweak mix unlike his remix of madagascar which owns and was consequentlly copied by Ferry and others.

I may be the only person that prefers the Vorontsov & Dorohov Remix.Well this tune sounds better proggier. The vocals aren't overused (which annoyed me in the Original Mix) and generally i didn't find anything special in the Original Mix.In fact i don't like this eastern style generally so this might be the reason. But the Remix is really good,it amazed me

I'm sorry but i have to note that this is the best trance tune of 2006 for sure.
Everything else just doesn't compare at all!
It definately has the old school feel to it yet keeps it so up to date that it just fits perfectly.
