That thread above has great guide on power supply units, whats good and whats not. From my knowledge, Thermaltake make crap PSU's.

Without going into business quality (which cost alot), OCZ Powerstream & Antec True Power are the end user consumer favourites. OCZ have a longer warrenty & better voltage regulation ('''technically'''), but cost more, where as Antec voltage regulation is still within specification, but warrenty is 3 years not 5.

I personally use Antec True Power in the PC's i build, and have one in the PC i use now. I tested my voltage rails with a digital multimeter and none of my rails fluctuated more than 0.01v which is well within specification. full results in this thread - http://forums.extremeoverclocking.c...ad.php?t=149078

flops = floating point operations per second
mflops = millions of floating point operations per second

it's a popular way of computer scientists and engineers to test cpus, and figuring benchmarks.

some may be more knowledgeable of MIPS (millions of instructions per second).
