You won't get anywhere by trying to build a site that covers everything. People will go to the specialist sites that focus more closely on their preferred style.

For success you need to either a) pick a niche that isn't covered, say by creating a site that covers just Fiesta Turbos rather than all Ford RS models or by b) making a site so damn good that people abandon what they already know.

If you do go ahead be prepared that it's not going to make you any money. In fact if it's successful it's going to cost you. A Lot.

Having seen some of your work I would say that b) isn't going to happen (sorry).

See, I disagree with that. However, I agree with the fact that you cannot start off doing everything all at once but have to build up to that point.
