I never saw anything wrong with it to begin with. Even in Belinda's case where I look at it as her simply switching for personal gain, I don't think there's anything 'wrong' with it. When I think of "cleaning up Government" I think about fiscal scandals and wasted money. Not candidates switching parties. When you vote in an election, you aren't voting for a party, you're voting for a person. That people vote on a party-to-party basis is their problem, if people looked at what EMERSON stands for, it would probably be pretty clear that he's somewhere in the middle and doesn't really care what party he's in, as long as he's in a position where he can make a valuable contribution to this country. And guess what? It ain't on the opposition benches.
