Thats crap. Paintballing is great fun. Doesn't hurt that much (its a good pain anyway). Worst hit I've gotten was in the side of the head (friendly fire, not expected) from about 1 metre away. Saw stars for a few seconds and hurt a fair bit.

But yeah, quite fun

paintball is the bees knees (although rather tiring), although you tend to get punished by friends

fav paintball moment: so buggered i sat down in sniper pose. a lonely paintballer 30m+ away notices a rangefinder crash into the tree he is hiding behind, looks right and realises that taste in his mouth is paint

talking about blood, a mate of mine was trying to be cheeky and get real close up, he made a dash from behind this rock, and on the other side was his cousin....suffice to say only a family member would keep shooting when they were supposed to stop haha

paintball is the absolute best.

I've had my own gun for years, one of my favorite moments was playing a game with my buddies, in the middle of nowhere on an old farm road, where one side was to set up an ambush, and we were to 'walk the road' expecting one.

The guys ambushing us found a piece of black piping, so on one side of the road, they took off some of their camoflauge and placed it strategically with the piping to mimic a person lying down. We spotted it, I flanked the position, and fell right into their trap. My scouting partner was eliminated quickly, and I found myself back against a small cliff, in the middle of some serious crossfire and no cover. One guy decided to relocate, figuring I'm be under so much duress from his partner I would take a shot, but I picked him off on the run. I then turned, saw my next target in probably the best covered spot in the area, took one shot, and passed the paintball thru what was no more than a 6"x6" area to hit him in the mask. We lost the overall battle, but man, that was some great shooting.
