haha, looks like he's trying to have sex w/ the table. oy.

it is pretty sweet tho, when DJs actually do some effects on the tracks.

aka the first actual mixing trick DJs learn how to do. Simple, but effective, and fun, but still very simple. You can learn how to do it in 40 seconds. If this seriously impresses you, you haven't actually seen any good DJs yet.

Actually, beatmatching is usually the first thing :P Can't beatmatch, can't spin. that simple.

but moving onto Eddie...

Nifty ^^

looked too routine to be impressive tho...

the good dj's do it on the fly..

This could be utter bullcrap, so take it with a big pinch of salt, but I have been told a few times now that Eddie's sets are recorded onto a CD which he plays, then f*cks up with effects on loops from other CDJ's and his beloved Pioneer 909 mixer he demands to have installed at every gig.

*POSSIBLY* utter crap thought...

And He DOES Mix at the end, the bass runs out too, AND the beats slip. But with performances like that it's okay. I will agree that it must get annoying after a while, and that the music he plays aint really trance. Not last time I saw him anyway.

Trance Is Perfect.

No Tune worth it's salt needs all that extra stuff on top to make it sound good, hence why it only works on thumping hard housers and Shit Hop.

ya hes doin it live and its not pre recorded. For those who say its easy to do...try doing it, getting 2 songs to go together like that. He just did a completely new song live. Its fucking hard, obviously he'd practiced it a shitload prior, but its still pretty impressive non the less. no top trace dj could do shit like that.

The reason eddie doesn't do as much shit as he used to, is cause hes playin a lot more trance than he used to. He's always been more of a techno dj and trown in some trance tracks. From what i've seen lately its a hell of a lot more trance which is too bad. Anyways effects, espically scratching, sounds like absolute shit over trance. Techno is a lot easier and sounds a lot better doing tricks/effects over. And hes a pretty good scratcher too, he started out spinning rap and learning to scratch before moving into tech/trance

yea hes hit and miss, from what i've seen/heard, the more techno he plays the better he is, if u see him mainly playin trance, its not gonna be anything special. Either way though hes definately worth checkin out.

lol what a bs post...you've been told by who? your friends who probably know as little as you?
its a djm-600 he demands, cause its got the onboard efx. If your booking him for your club, your booking him cause of what he does, hows he supposed to do it without the right equipment dumbass?
the music u say "aint really trance" is called techno, genius
