Incorrect my friend, you're confusing Jesus and the pope. Jesus was very much against the established religious authorities due to their elitist structure and internal corruption. Given that most of the current organised religions have a similar elitist structure with consolidation of power at the top rather then with the masses he would likely stand against them as well. The last person Jesus would want to give the ipods to is the church.
