Creamfields 2005 all the way, Ferry Corsten made a good job with lots of electro influenced tracks on cd1... it owns the cd2: trance.
And the mixing is class.

i dunno, i hardly listen to the "mixes" released, you dont have to go very far for some good mixes, just goto the forums' dj production forum, theres usually someone with some really good stuff.

I would have to say though in the past 3 years the only EDM mixed cd's i have liked were Trance Energy 2003 and 2004, blank & jones the mix 2/3, uhh shit and recently the thrillseekers presents night music. i cant remember a lot of them. but those seem to end up in my cd players quite often.

Cool, i heard about that CD, but it had a lot of the same tracks on his "Passport: Kingdom Of The Netherlands" CD. Two mixed CDs I really want currently are the "In Trance We Trust" CD mixed by Phynn, and one from United Records called "Quest For Trance" mixed by Hemstock & Jennings. The first CD is epic, melodic trance and the other is tech and hard trance. Pretty good stuff...

yeah, i'd like to think that the more out there the better. especially if you're like me and just want to listen to music; not create your own mixes or DJ.

obviously, if that is your goal, then you're going to want more artist albums/releases.

but as a regular music listener, mix CDs are preferable, i think.
