Mike is originally from Buffalo and moved to SF about 6 months ago....I have no idea why he isnt on TA, Ill bug him and get him on...

pvd played some solid fucking beats.

other random highlites:
- friendly newyorker staff at both crobar and the roseland ballroom. very impressed!
- after pvd seeing a pimp getting out of a limo and going to ny's cozo right across the street from fran's. he said something about swinging from one of the girl's ponytales or something? anyone remember the exact quote?
- walking to times square and some person just randomly lays down right in front of us.
- the roseland ballroom.
- crobar's soundsystem.
- opening dj at crobar.
- everyone that came along. friends make all the difference. much love y'all!

AHHHH the PIMP! He had on the craziest fur coat and I yelled across the street, "D'ya wanna trade?" (I was also wearing my fur). He said "Sure" and then, "I want to pull your pony tail".

Not many of you got to see much of me on Saturday night there, I think I may have broken my left foot somehow (absolutely NO idea how) and I could barely walk on it, let alone dance.

I told Fran, "Dude I can't deal with this shit, I've gotta sit down" so he and I went and chilled out for a bit, I ended up staying in the seating area the whole night with Lisa (who herself wasn't feeling well), Shannon, Kal and their friends.

Left at 4am 'cause I was dying from lack of sleep and massive foot pain.

A good night overall, though.

Sunday morning was fucking awesome back at Fran's, it was incredibly divided (all the girls in Fran's room and the 5 of us dudes in his living room drinking).

So much fun to party with all of you, and it was really, really great to see Ilyia again. Much fun reminiscing the old Purple Room days with you on Sunday morning dude, and we've got Pett convinced to come out to an event!

Great times !

I was not too impressed with the party, or PVDs set(either I don't like Trance anymore, or PVD's set wasn't too great - not sure), but seeing everyone again more than made up for it, so overall I'm very happy that I made the trip.

BTW - the fact that PVD played a 6 a hour set, and had so much fun doing it(he danced, smiled, sang, etc) really puzzles me. I mean - that party vibe wasn't any better than a typical party in Toronto, or a good party(ala Armin at Ruby Skye) in San Fran. So why doesn't PVD do 6 hour sets, or enjoy himself as much anywhere else ?
