First of all, you're right. The word "filler" is the one of the worst words possible to call this type of track, but that's what it's called, so I use "filler." To me, a filler is a track that you drop after a seriously banging tune that gets the crowd crazy. Whether anyone wants to admit it or not, you can't play 110% crazy get up and dance music the entire set. People need to go to the bathroom, have a drink, and rest from dancing, not to mention the fact that a person's mind gets spoiled after hearing an hour of non-stop amazing tunage. I use these tracks to take the mood back down, and later build back up into that crazy awesome omg tune that everyone loves.

I guess I just dj completely different because I've never based my set progression around getting to that one big track...i prefer to just play consistently good tunes which move the energy up song by song.

So for me, and my opinion...

Filler is crap, for the reasons i listed above - but that's just my opinion. But that's just how i define it.

You think this is filler cuz it keeps the mood going after peak hour.

I think its filler because it is a bad track devoid of anything that i find interesting and set worthy.

yea... i never understood why they named it the "instramental" mix of Breathe, when it doesnt sound like the vocal mix.. they shoulda names it different...

and the instramental version is good... but i think its getting overplayed... anyway, its been around for awhile... time to get on with it

yes i did read the thread. thats y i responded. i understand they are two different tracks. but why would u name something an "instramental" version (i.e. no vocals, Much like a "dub" mix) when it doesnt even have the same beat. I just mentioned that they should have given it a totally different name, to eliminate all the confusion.

The only confusion is generated by people who are too retarded to accept the names for what they are

For the last time:

There is a song called BREATHE and there is a song called INSTRUMENTAL, they are two completely different tracks, one is not an instrumental of the other, there are no vocals in either track.
