what makes it peculiar is that many ancient cultures had a story about a great flood, gilgamesh.

From the article

quote:

New satellite imaging is now available, and Taylor is lobbying hard to have those satellites take a few shots of Mt. Ararat.

Today it is easier then ever to get live satellite images if you are willing to pay a price ( You can custom shots taken for you at any given time from 300 to 1500+ $ ).
Where is the hold up?
Not enough cash or due to this mountain restriction from Turkey???

That's the part I don't understand ....

http://www.niagarahelicopters.com/t...s-techinfo.html

and

http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ac/ah-1.htm

# Performance: Climb rate: 1,925 feet per minute
# Maximum altitude: 14,750 feet
# Maximum attainable speed: 170 knots (195 mph)
# Maximum cruising speed: 152 knots (173 mph)

and that's just for a military helicopter.

i thought so too at first but i guess we were wrong.
