anyhow.. my opinion... if you are gonna buy a car.. do not lease if you are driving distance.. like previously stated you will spend a shitload in costs for going over the km's.. I think it is up to about 8 cents/km over and it only gives you about 20k km/yr to work with.
Also, I wouldn't buy anything brand new. If you buy even 1 year older you are already saving a good 2000$-4000$ in freight and such being brand new.. a year old is good cuz most times you will still have warranty on the car up to about 60,000km I think for GM products (not sure about anything else cuz I have only ever drivin Chev , which I can say I have gotten 5 years out of one and am on year 3 with my second now) One thing with buying an American vehicle is that your parts and such to fix are a lot cheaper than having to possibly get them imported if you buy something non-American, so that is something to think about as well.
One thing that I will tell you though.. Kia's offer a 5 year warranty with full roadside and everything, so that may be something that you want to consider as well. And I have heard a number of good things about Kia as well.
I don't think it matters with what type of car you are buying.. I think you can always get a lemon out of the deal being new or not. But if you do buy used there are places online where you can pay to get the full background report on the previous owners and if the auto has been in accidents or not as well. Make sure that you find someone who knows something about cars to go with you or do your reseach fully before getting one.
Good luck and happy auto shopping Nick!
