Final Fantasy is wicked and One Winged Angel is quarantine-wow-stasiscell-idie-007!
Breath Of Fire series ARE AWESOME! One of favorite RPGs, with out a freakin doubt. And the music for BoFIII is awesome. (Every day battle is omg I die)

"Doom 64" now that game had some wicked music. I wouldn't call it trance, it's almost ambient but yet it's so minimal and creepy, like at points you don't know if it's music or sound effects or what. I remember playing that game with my friend in total darkness late at night at his house and it freaked us out, we were like 11 or so. One moment there's lights, then total darkness. It's alot like "Doom 3" was, but the graphics weren't nearly as realitic, and the monsters looked fake, but the music in "Doom 3" was a bit more energetic. The music in "Doom 64" was just insanely eeire....so was the original Quake's (an even darker game, freaked the hell out of me at points) and the music in the original Doom games is really good! Some of it sounded like Moby's early stuff...

Dude, you should doctor up all that shebang and write a campfire story. Musical possession, that's just freaky.

Extreme G3 on the PS2 had a pretty cool soundtrack ingame, Featuring tracks like System F - Needlejuice and Luzon - The Baguio Track (Bedrock Remix)

Slaps forehead

Racing games; I forgot all about them. I could see some fantastic tracks boosting the adrenaline in that sort of pace.

Which is why Trance music sounds and plays a lot better in those racing games.

The best soundrack to a video game ive ever played was on Midnight Club 2

Had stuff like:

Kansai - Rococco
Art of Trance
and Felix Da Housecat - Silver Screen Shower Scene

usually though most of the game music is crap, thankfully you can now import your own on the new gen consoles like the Xbox 360 my brothers got. Makes no difference for me though I dont have any time for games anymore

If I get any spare time, i'm either mixing, looking for tracks or trying to produce.

Music by BT shows up in Need For Speed Underground and GT:3. Old Junkie XL is in the Need For Speed IV Soundtrack, it's from before he did trance. I think there may be Cygnus X on said game too, but not positive.

There's also Rise FM in GTA 3. I actually don't mind that stuff.

And it's not trance at all, but what got me into electronic music in the first place is Frank Klepacki's music from Command and Conquer. It really is a killer soundtrack, and his work on his other games are also bloody righteous. I highly recommend them.

The game Frequency also introduced me to some EDM...check the Dub Pistols
