Pure cheese.

But it if you accept it as that then it has its merits.

Seriously? I dont think so, but that's just one opinion. I think that it's a solid tune, reminds me of Alena's - "Turn it Around".

ok anyway like you said, lets not turn this thread into one of those that goes off on random tangents lol

wrong this late trend with the up to date trends have never been so significant during all the years I've been listening to EDM. And those time when a tune was updated it was often justified with proper updated versions not with some crappy remake just one year after the first release. I laughed the other day when I read that Darey released Lost Tribe - Gamemaster 2006. How can you not be anti-200x trend when the labels acts like clowns?

the only thing which have been blown out of proportions is the labels greed and will to release updated remixes of 1 year old tunes.

Ah but the difference is Alena - "Turn It Around" had emotion and a story in the lyrics where as the Red Carpet lyrics sound as if they took 30 seconds to write.

quote:

Alena - 'Turn It Around'

Turn it around baby
Spend more time with me
Try to believe you, try to believe you
Turn it around baby
Spend more time with me
It's getting insane I know
Let it not be true
Turn it around baby
Turn it around

I need you
I can only be myself with you
I need you
I can only be myself with you
I can only be myself

Turn it around baby
It's just my jealousy
I don't want to lose you
Don't wanna lose you
Turn it around baby
We've come too far
Don't let this slip away
Don't leave me now
Turn it around baby
Turn it around

I need you
I can only be myself with you
I need you
I can only be myself with you
I can only be myself

I can only be myself
I can only be myself

Compare the above to the "Alright, Alright, everythings gonna be alright" of the red carpet track.

Alright definitely has a commercial feel about it, but it's still an unapologetically upbeat, feel-good track if you see past that.

The lyrics aren't that important, really, for the purpose.

Like i said, it does have its uses. For example i would use this track if i was making a CD for a friend who isnt into Dance music.

well i duno about you but i was reffering to andreas' post saying he might have a crack at a nice new house remix of this track. not some label who thought they might make a buck or 2 out of some cheap remixes of older tunes.

i was refering to the current state in the scene where we have been floded for well over 2 years now with in 99% of the cases totally meaningless updates of old tunes.
