Small town America can be quite charming.
I went through a period in my life where I just traveled for a year and a half throughout the Southwestern US, and I saw my fair share of small towns.
But, I am a city man at heart, and enjoy living in one. There is more to do, see and experience in a city.
Some really charming small towns that I recommend visiting are:
Chama, New Mexico
Taos, New Mexico
Terlingua, Texas
Cody, Wyoming
Manitou Springs, Colorado
Fredericksburg, Texas
Bozeman, Montana
