Anyone else think this season of The Sopranos is very brutal? Even more so than in previous years?

watched the latest ep... the momentum sure has changed in this ep, and it's like back to more usual sopranos... found this episode kinda, well boring compared to the ones earlier in the season, which were all around Tony, and how his condition was affecting his family, friends and the rest of the mob.
Although, I *loved* in this ep how he's afraid people thinks his weak and so he goes a bit O_o to try and prove them otherwise, and the toll it has on him. the writers are going very deep with it.

ep 5 was pretty sweet Tony back on his feet again and first day back on the job.......it's really getting interesting.

i liked last years episode where tony discovered the ring of amara which allowed him to confront the dark demon lord and save humanity from sure extermination as hell portals began to open up all over the planet. sweet.

just acquired episode 8...the fatty poof dude (forgot his name vito?) who's really hiding the fact he's gay has finally left the state, he was busted out at a gay bar by two of the families dudes and couldn't deal with the shame of it...lol but yeah it's starting to fire up!
