i'd right a lenghty review, but it would be like my man nick's almost verbatim i thought the first three hours he was building real nice, alittle mellow but it was progressing very nicely. the mixing was real clean. than jes came on and it totally disrupted the set to me, it was like a policeman pulling you over while you were on a good ole' sunday joyride. then the set just kinda of flatlined for the next two hours i would say. the visuals were cool but all the ibiza theatrics got kinda of distracting, i swear for 20minutes 90% of the crowd's eyes were transfixed on the girl rope-contortionist. hell even tiesto was staring.
anyways i was about to give up when tiesto just decided to reach into the back of his cd cataglog and pull up some nasty dark, hard tunes. the buildups and crescendos of a few of those tracks were vintage tiesto, i could not stop jumping. the energy was just palpable for those last two hours. very few tracks i could identify, which i LOVE!!!! it was not as good as his last two wmc sets, but it was worth the price of admission just for those last two hours.
great meeting nick(konijn island) and although a small flta turnout, we all had fun.
