SNES, SEGA and TurboGrafx games would be $4.99 to $14.99 (unless otherwise dictated by NEC/Sega). I'm guessing the pricier tags will go to the more popular games (FFIII, Chrono Trigger, Super Mario RPG, etc..). N64 titles would be $9.99 to $19.99.

All guesstimates, of course.

So; will it really be possible to download old nintendo games through nintendo revolution ? (Sorry, cuz i actually haven't followed the topic closely ).
It would definately be great; there are some old titles I badly want to replay

At the moment I own all nintendo consoles; and i'll be waiting for the revolution (or wii ) to buy my next one...

Yes! The 'virtual console' will provide various downloads from the first 3 generations of Nintendo games, the first 2 generations of Sega games and the one generation of TurboGrafx games. Of course there will probably be a fee depending on the title and the console its for for whatever reason (We'd consider an N64 game to be more costly than an NES game due to release date. Also, Hudson and Sega games could cost more so as to pay royalties. etc...). However, look forward to purchasing the more famous of the older games and playing it straight on your Wii.

I have FF Qrystal and F-Zero but i dident like them that much. If youre into FF look at Skies Of Arcadia (amazing game) and Fire Emblem.

For multiplayer i would recommend Mario Kart DD and the super monkey ball 1 & 2.

Paper Mario and Beyond Good & Evil is also very fun.

If you like many of the old nintendo games you could also buy a gameboyplayer and buy some of the old zelda, mario etc games and play them on your gamecube. But if youre going for Wii (Revolution) they might be cheaper to download to that consol.

I reallllllly hope that name is just a PR stunt like you suggested. I really hope so.

"Hey guys I know what we can do! Let's go to my house and play with my Wii!"

"Hey babe I got a new Wii and know some great games we could play together with it."

Lol.

The reality of the situation? The patent was filed shortly after the revealing of the name. They officially used the name for the first time at the Nintendo Press Conference today. There was even a picture of the device with Wii written on the bottom of the face side (in vertical positioning).

Oh God....

edit: You think that somewhere in the organization that is Nintendo, someone, somewhere woud have said:

"Hold on just a damn second now. What the HELL are we doing?? Wii? I got a freakin' Wee-wee right here. Yeah sure changing the name will generate alot of publicity, but "Wii"? Just because we are rich, stuck bastards doesn't mean we can go around doing whatever we want!!!"

But then another someone probably said:

"Wait, yes we can. We CAN do whatever we want! Wii it is! Oh pass me some of that whiskey with gold flakes in it so that I can pour it on my $10,000 dollar edible gold sundae. Oh that is qutie a nice pink gand piano on the ceiling, isn't it? Never noticed before."

They are out of their pea sized minds.

Yeah I thought it was ok for awhile to, but that i realized I would have to say it aloud in public if I was ever going to suggest using it!

"Let's play with my Wii!"

Hearing that in public scares me.
