Full Review

Woke up from a semi-coma after the Desyn/Demi/Omid16b Sex on Substance show early afternoon and freaked cause we didn't think we were gonna make it in time. Got to the boat like 15 min before it was supposed to take off only to find out that it left in another hour and a half, so it was all cool. Got some lunch, still hungover as fuck from the liters of Grey Goose we had the previous night (bought a vip table with ~10 TAs for the Desyn show the night before). We got on the boat with no trouble at all, people who bought tickets got in faster than those on the guest list Walk up the ramp, and diggers is standing right there, shake his hand thats about it since i'm virtually speechless.

The layout of the boat was incredible. The dancefloor was on the roof and before we even got on the boat Desyn was already tearin away at it. There were no boundaries on the boat, everyone was treated as a VIP and you could go anywhere you please, even behind the booth. The first and second floors were ballroomesque and this is where all the bars were located (about six of them). Vodka + Spacefuel = free, Vodka + any mixer = $1. I didn't even bother looking any any other prices and ended up with around 12-14 vodka/grapefruits throughout the party. Needless to say I was trashed by the end of the night.

Everyone I met was very down to earth (cept sasha whose head is always in the clouds). A few I got to talk to include Bunny from Rabbit in the moon, Demi, Omid16b, and Desyn who was nice enough to put us on his VIP list for his show that night at Nocturnal (though we were too sloshed to make it there). Also found out this crazy lookin guy was photographing for DJ mag and took copious amounts of pictures with us in them.

Desyn's set was the best set i've ever experienced live. His style of fun bumpin party house was perfect for the Ocean setting. At the moment the only tracks I can remember of his are Castelli & Perazzoli - On The Road and he ended his set with Haji & Emmanuel - Take Me Away. Sasha opened with a track I knew, but the name has slipped my mind. His third track was Kaskade - Steppin Out (Greenskeepers Remix). There were plenty of tracks I recognized at the time, but by the time the djs got going I couldn't bother writin em down on my phone, the party was too great for that. Sasha and Diggers both tore it up, but Desyn imo stole the show. The end of the night Sasha and Digs were going at it back 2 back. What was supposed to be slightly over a 3 hour party turned into more of a 6 hour party. Well worth the money (I spent about that much the night before at a free party at cafeteria anyways). Another thing I noticed was the snobby "there to be seen" crowd managed to not get on this party, just another reason why this party was so great.

A few more pictures we got:

Those two came off my phone.. the rest from our disposable..

Note: Largest grin of my life

If I can remember anything else, I'll post it.
