Tenth Planet - Ghosts

Come to think of it, this is the song that really got me into trance in the first place. i remeber hearing 8 seconds of it on a Radio promo for DJ Micro's Tech-mix Live and haven't turned back yet.

TUNE.

Chac - 7 Years <- is similar, and also great.
GD - Choral Reef <- has a bit of recognition, but not nearly enough

Neither are pre-97, but both need exposure.

i thought of some more tracks that really made my day, a few years back, and I consider forgotten

dumonde vs lange - memory
sagitaire - shout c'mon (coast 2 coast remix)
arriva - african soul anthem (atlantis ita remix)
&
electrique boutique - revelation (corsten remix)

i think the threadstarter asked for pre 97 tracks because alot of the later tunes are already mentioned once in a while, as for those you mentioned.
although i can agree that African Soul Anthem is underrated
