Hence the severely underdeveloped humour thing. Pay attention, kumquat. *wap*

You just did.

following that same logic, would a person not liking trance be taking music too seriously?

That's a good question. When I find that person, I'll ask him to find out.

So one needs an advanced sense of humour to find happy hardcore funny?
I thought it was just kids who found 200BPM remixes of Pingu amusing.

I don't even really know why I'm having this debate though - everyone knows no-one takes music as seriously as you, Ishkur.
ROFLMAO.

is this really a debate?

to me it seems more like fun chatter, like those silly chats about music and philospophy you get into with strangers(who are fucked up out of their minds) when you sit next to them at a party.

does anybody else have those goofy drunken conversations about topics like this when they go out partying? I think of TA as an extension to those, I picture you guys smiling when we go through these threads, are people really trying to get all serious about these message board arguments?

It's hard to tell who's being serious and who isn't, because you can't see their face.
It seems rather stupid saying I have no sense of humour just because I don't like happy hardcore, although I'm willing to bet it wasn't meant with any sort of venom.

It's just fun to argue with Ishkur though because you know he'll actually bother to reply.
Well, for a while.
