i don't worship lance armstrong but i do have a tremendous amount of respect for what he's gone through and accomplished.
before cancer, lance was an obnoxious and selfish guy thinking he could rule the world (like most boys do at an early age). the way he raced was brash and disrespectful, and he lived his life according to his own terms.
after cancer, lance became a humbled man and didn't think he could even race anymore. he completely transformed spiritually and committed himself 100% to winning. beyond his biking accolades, he dedicated himself to giving back to the cancer community by establishin his foundation (LAF) in his free time. he's an inspiration to the millions out there afflicted with the deadly disease, that not only is it possible to beat cancer, it's possible to 'will' yourself back to life and even succeeed at it
a winner in my books.
