hmmm.... i wonder if anyone even listened to Politics of Dancing?

I usually like PvD's livesets, but that album downright sucked.

i think people here are voting on the actual DJ's instead of the CD's....

In my opinion it was nice to see Ferry mix some tracks that he never mixed before into his livesets....like for example i never heard ferry play flight 643 but its good that he decided to explore new territory....as for PVD well Politics of Dancing was more or less his favorites from the past year and listening to his recent sets he still plays many songs from politics.
As big as i am a ferry fan....i think politics of dancing is a little better!!!

POD is the best compilation that came out in the last year or more with nothing even close to it, so my vote goes to PvD naturally

dude, what are you talking about, i listen to POD (disc 2) all the time. its not the greatest album of all time for sure, but it beats ferry's cheese nation 2001.. cmon.. who wants to hear 4:00 minute edits of tracks .. even tho his mixes are clean (of course)
and seriously, there's only one track i actually dislike on POD (the U2) but trance nation has several horrible nasty tracks, e.g. scot project...

that being said, i dont even like POD So much, id give it an 8/10 or so.

Ok, didnt know that it was what you meant by Trance Nation 5. Anyway my vote goes to Trance Nation. It has way more energy and great tracks than Politics. Politics sounds like it has the same bassline in every track and the tracks low energy, more like something you would listen to on your CD player when you go to sleep

Shame / Disagreement

hmmmm
u cant even 'compare' the 2. its hard to!
as they are both great, and unique in their own way ...

its not possible to compare. i love all the TN's ferry has done...
they are all uplifting and energetic/

POD is too, but, there is more originality and uniqueness to the CD,. as hes rewoked traks and stuff, and not plainly mixed it thru.

both get my vote of approval!

greets / helen

*currently playing: "illuminate" - Orbital (Charlie may remix)
