Well I finally understand exactly your answer. One funny thing is that we re both right in how can we explain the empty space with the overall figure of the same height and lenght. But my assumption was that the rectangles changed its height by millimeters, and yours (which i guess it fits better the graphic) that the triangles were the ones that changed... but anyway i´m impressed by everyone´s skill to resolve this problem :O

No! I haven't said that triangles changed! As a matter of fact no part had changed! It's all becouse of re-arranging.

Oh yes! it was funny cos what i meant to said is that the look of the figure changed cos the triangles changed positions or something like that.. maybe....

Three turtles(t.) are crawling on a straight line.
First says: "there's no t. in front of me, but behind me there's one"
Second: "in front of me and behind me there's a t."
Third: "in front of me and behind me there's a t. too"
How this can happen?
