k so i nearly lost my life coming to this thing...
mannn...
literally inches away from getting T-Boned (yes thats right front of car perpendicular to my car) on the 427 south just before Dundas St......this dude decided he is gonna pull a couple crazy lane changes and loses control on the highway i hit the gas and barely avoid getting hit by him after he bounces off the median and into the car behind me....i look in the rear view mirror and all i see is car pieces and glass flying up in the air...still moving (the conditions were NOT safe to stop considering all the cars flying around the highway ) Theresa calls 911 and they send out their resuce team...the rest is history as far as i am concerned...911 has my phone number and my name and can call me if they want to know again what i saw...facking craziness

anyways...Kool Haus...started off a little slow because of the recent events that had just taken place...still a little shaken up, i slowly got into a vibe and was on the dance floor about 3/4 of the way into Oakenfold's set. He really didnt seem to be into it at all...mixing wasnt the smoothest either...pretty quick ones too...but im just a critique

Josh's set was really nuts...really original and mental sounding tunes i loved it....great way to warm up the already jumping crowd

Armin was GREAT! but...not as GREAT as last year's Decadence party...but still impressed me none the less

oh yeah...Oakie gets props for playing "Igor S - Boomerang" i LOVE it when a DJ plays an unexpected track that fits the mood so well ....a pure classic tune too

Dannie (tamiko) WHERE DID YOU GO???? DID YOU EVEN GET IN?? i really hope you are ok!!! if any of you know the where-abouts of Dannie, please let me know ASAP

anyways...heh been a while since i wrote a review but i felt like typing this time

PS -- JOHN TANG: thanks a lot for the reduced list hook up, true gentleman, if i had of seen you at all tonight, i woulda got you a drink

cheers all,

AJ signing off...for now

All I can say (for now) is that this has been a very memorable night.

Nearly getting into a massive accident, shortly after one of the people who was supposed to come with us (Drew Skuce) has his vehicle towed, really set the tone.

I need sleep. I'm feeling sketchy.

a friend bought it for him. customized with AVB as the name and #1 on it.

Awesome awesome night. I was so surprised Josh Gabriel dropped some minimal, but he was kinda all over the place with it, so I left after an hour to check out Sander K.

Sander K was phenomenal, but guv was too hot and there just wasnt enough space to dance, So I went back after like 45 minutes. Spent the rest of the night in the KH.

Oakie... speechless. He was that good. Tune of the night... Igor S - Boomerang. The buildup... oh man its just that good.

Armin started off with talk, loved it... then he started playing wayyy too soft for my personal tastes. After a few tracks he picked it up again, so I was impressed overall. Left around 7:15ish.

Great night, nice seeing such a rediculous amount of people there. Definately one to remember.

Thankyou Sasha. Bitching at me and cursing at me for half hour did pay off. I owe you for convincing me to come. And my sister Aleks ... babes u know i luv ya Thnx Sean for hooking up the ticket at last minute

Mr. Oakenfold played a set that was second to none. Great mixing superb track selection and he in fact looked like he was enjoying himself and having fun. Tune of the night was Fred Baker vs Nyrem - Confirmation. Just amazing. Southern Sun an absolute classic. Igor S - Boomerang w0w. Hats off to you Oakie, i knew you still gots the magic

Armin surprised me. In my opinion much better set then the last 3 times i have seen him. And is it only me or was Armin really trying hard to be a crowd pleaser like Tiesto?!!? Jumping up on the decks table and banging on the lights hanging above him lolz. Nonetheless tunes were good so it don't matter much.

Sander K ... what can i say ... it's Sander K. Amazing set from what i got to hear for an hour or so.Sander's energy behind the decks is awesome. Makes dancing to the tunes that much more fun when the dj himself is really into it.

Great to see everyone ... you guys are all awesome and much respect for you all. Fantastic to meet new Tas and atlast i just wanna add that Fahad, Ania, Drew, Max, Vlad, Magda, Jem, Niki, Tim, Yohan, and eveyone else who couldnt make it, you folks were all missed dearly. Hope to see ya all soon.

Above & Beyond ... here comes the craziness that is named TOTA. T.O. T.A.

p.s. any updates on Dannie does anyone know if she is ok and stuff ?

you can bet, it was a memorable nigth. i've got to the guv around midnigh, around 2 i think Sander came on. oh wow Sander K was droppin some killer beats man!
there was one in particular that said something like -jump the wall ??

the guv was pretty rammed when i left there, i head to KH just in time for Paul Okenfold. OMG i die when i listen to those anthems, he played Southern Sun, beautiful!!! It realy sounded like those sets from 99.

After that Armin was insane, a long and solid trance set.

The club had a lot of kool things going on, like the girls hanging from roof :-)

met a lot of kool people, some TAs others not, the TA were definitely representing @ the kool haus

thanks to all the persons that made possible such a memorable nigth, you guys rock!:-) this is my best party ever!

WOW.

That was very much worth it - I had a fackin' blast, room to dance, took some sick videos, and I only had to toss one Asian the whole tight.

Review later - time for a nap.

Decadence 2006.
Arrived at 10:00 very short line.
Brad Copland in the Guv had a fine beat going for the opening hour.

KoolHaus
- wicked light squares, not the same as lasers, but entertaining for a few minutes here and there

Josh Gabriel
liked has set, good beat.
Tunes of notice:
Rachael Starr - Till there was you
Armin van Buuren feat. Gabriel & Dresden - Zocalo
Motorcycle- As the Rush Comes
Gabriel & Dresden feat. Molly - Tracking Treasure Down

Paul Okenfold
more of a beat to his set, but good set overall.
- Synergy - Hello Strings (Flash Brothers mix) , have been waiting awhile to hear this, was hoping Armin would play it.
- Paul Oakenfold - Southern Sun

Armin van Buuren
The man I have been waitig for.
Thouroughly enjoyed his set.
Opening with - Coldplay - Talk (Junkie XL remix)
Shortly afterwards - Above & Beyond with Andy Moor - Air for Life

- Armin van Buuren - Shivers

Plus many other great tracks. Stayed til 9:00, hope I did not miss too much more.
Had a great night, crowd in the KoolHaus okay, it was crowded and I had to find a place near ther back to dance.

all i have to say is WOW.
goood goood party.
although my schedule went to the shitter,
i had a blast..
spent pretty much the entire night in the orange room
mmm breaks.... tasty tasty breaks.....
saw a bit of oliver and lee and sander...
lee's set was kind of quiet at the beginning.
sander was great but im glad i split to go see icey whene the time came.
Icey's set was by far the best IMO
El Kay Dee u disapeared on me for icey i saw u for all of like 2 mins.
funkygroove and kailee it was nice finally meeting u
jojo ur oodles of fun.
and kelly i fucking love you!! we have to hang out not this coming week but the one after cuz i had sooo much fun with you.^_^
the end of the night was a little wierd...i was really spaced out. i think i was just really tiered from all the dancing.
driving home definatly sucked ... i almost fell asleep a couple of times and it didnt help that it was raining.
