Hehe time for some reviewing!

I arrived with couple of people around 12. When we walked into the building, there was practically no lineup, but literally minutes later it fkn stretched till the end! I had my VIP, so it didn't take that long to get inside.

Fanciulli was already on the decks, but I didn't really feel his set because I only heard a part of it, and I was still umm adapting kinda to the venue. Haha was wicked to see all of you guys in one corner! Haha Jay you mofo, I thought you weren't coming, good to see you man. As well as everyone else who was there!

Moved to the House Room after maybe 30-40 minutes to check out Ghetta. He did throw couple nice ch00ns in the set, but overall it was fkn cheese. I mean I was just standing, waiting for the stupid vocals to end. But I admit, I danced to The World Is Mine. Hehe.

Then we moved back to the Tech room, to see IM. This was my 4th time seeing them, and they never dissapoint. I'm glad I heard some new ch00ns, but they did throw in couple old goodies like Musebreaks, etc. Didn't hear Supervisor or Cities of the Future, but that may be due to the washroom break that took a fkn eternity.

Washrooms... I don't even want to discuss that.

I wasnt't planning on takin anything that night, except Red Bulls, but there was an opportunity and I couldn't let it pass. Anyways, around 5:00 AM I was in the House room with my friends and the 1/2 pill just kicked in.. holy fuck the music couldnt be more perfect. I'll check later who played during that time, but I have a feeling it was Stephan Grondin. I think he's a Circus resident? I gotta check this guy out more, the tracks, mixing was fkn amazing. holy shit, 5:00AM - moment of the night for sure. hahahahahha sooooo amamzing the vibe back there was sickkk

But man.. at some point the House room was a fkn SEA of semi-naked Argonauts. What's up with that? And practically every one of them has a short sl00t that follows them. Who are those guys?? I mean, there's usually couple at Aria on some nights, but fck that was just a fkn OVERLOAD. How are they connected to the EDM scene? Eh? Enlighten me.

We then moved back to see AvB. Armin played a number of ch00ns, stuff like Zocalo, Playmo (omg love that vinyl), Shivers (meh), Without You, Sweet Dreams (haha), Castamara or Silent Waves. Couple of fkn hard tracks that were just murdering the place. It was nice. Armin is good.
And Lopi liked it, that n00b. Haha, man Alex I said so many stupid things when we were standing there ahahah. "Let's DJ worship" DURRRR. Lols. Met ze Elf and Cyberflow in teh VIP, hehe!

Then went to check DD, but didnt really like the music, kinda blah. Dunnno, maybe because I was already tired and stuff.

Went to see Preach; when I saw maybe for 20 min, he played really soft, totally unexpected .. and that couldnt keep us up, so we decided to call it a night.

Some general thoughts...

WTF was up with that stage between the DJs and the crowd. Total bollocks, I couldn't even DJ worship properly.
The decorations were OK I guess, I mean I expected something cooler.
The bathrooms. No comments.
Fckn free t-shirts. It shouldnt matter when you come by to get it, there shouldnt be any fkn shortages. If I buy a bloody VIP ticked, I'm entitled to everything it gives me.
SWIRL vs. BEB: Hmm, SWIRL had one EDM room, so there was no need to run from one to another, when 2 good DJs were playin at the same time. Less crowded, at SWIRL there was space to dance! (but this is bad for business, I know) still .. there was literally no space to move at some points during BEB.
The girls were hot. Like insanely hot. Wearing practically nothing. Like... Whoa! But then again, some chicks should be banned from wearing skirts or bikinis. Ew. But the majority were hot. Very.

Overall, I liked it. Some things sucked, but the experience overall was pretty good. 140$ well spent. Def. gonna hit it up next year.

And as some mentionned above, my DJ whoring was successful
Hehe, Erika you're still a n00b DJ whore. :P

edit1: Oh Malek major thx for the pics!! I hope I don't have the "OMG I'M LOOKING AT FERRY'S CROTCH" look on these ones.

And depending on if you live at CFB Kingston your cost of living is probably very low as well, but even if you weren't cost of living in Kingston isn't that bad. Its only $30 which is cheaper than most nights at Stereo. Most of us on here who post about Stereo have put out probably hundreds and hundreds of dollars clubbing there just this year alone, and have never really complained for the most part. I know I sure as hell have.

Oh, believe me, I am.

Before the event, everyone said that Infected Mushroom were out of place at Bal en Blanc. Now that that's done, how were they received by the crowd?

they still out of place in my opinion for that kind of event! but it seem that everybody loved the show!! but dont forget that 80% of the people at the bal en blanc dont care about the djs and music played! they are just there to have fun!

Tracklist (some of it)

I only stayed for a like the first 2 hours of Armin, then my friend was sick so i had to leave

I could corrently identify the first few tracks, after that just cause i was going in and out of the rooms looking for some lost friends.

1. Coldplay - Talk (Junkie XL Remix)
2. Sunlounger - White Sand (CH00n! Crowd went nuts! That little guitar riff is sick, Armin seemed to be enjoying it too playing air guitar in the booth;-))
3. [I think this was Playmo]
4. Armin Van Buuren - Whos Watching (Dj Remy Remix)

After another song or 2 (castamara perhaps?) Zocalo went on and it killed as well.

As for a review of the night, it was siiiick. Ive got to say though, even though i went for Armin, the house room really did it for me. As someone mentioned the middle of the house room was literally INFESTED by naked homos touching each other (i got stuck there for a few mins once ...but when in the VIP it was really nice and better than the VIP for the trance room IMO.
Guetta DID play cheese...but the crowd enjoyed it. Soon as he played The World is Mine he knew the crowd would love it, but not only does he start off by doing a 'so-so' mashup of that song (with some other vocal tune, dunno the name) but then he plays 2 remixes of it right after..first Clamaran Dub then his Fuck Me im Famous Remix. The latter was the best. Track lasted about 15 minutes in total, but it was fun. Ending his set was great with Smells Like Teen Spirit IMO.

Was anybody near the VIP when Guetta was playing? They were filming for a movie Romeo + Julliet for a few hours that night with off and on periods.

@Jester: Ya it annoyed the fuck out of me was Armin was using the dj booth instead of just his earphones to hear the track transitions (correct term?) but whatever mixing was nice and the crowd down near the bottom couldnt hear that it was just whoever was next to the booth.

TAs that are very elite: Dajanna (of course ), Alex, Jester, Bertuzz, Enjoy, Layloula, and it was nice to meet Taha, Elie and Erica And Dj_Mischo, nice to see you again, you shoulda convinced Wisnia Deluce Kain etc to come!! I miss the Vaporub

Wellllllllllll
Got there at midnight to enjoy Faciulli's set , honestly I was really impressed , liked it ALOT ! Got me definetly going pretty much as soon as i stepped into the room!!!!!!
Met many ta's on the dancefloor!!! Im so bad with names ! But it was fun to finally see who is behind all those TA nicknames ! oh and Stereohead--> YAY for wearing jeans yesterday
After decided to move over to the house room ! Guetta! Well Ok , let's face it , it's guetta , he wont play NOT CHEESE , but he got the people going ! Everyone was smiling and really enjoying it ! Including myself ! I danced like a maniak to In My Arms -Mylo ! and its soooooooo cheeeeeeeeeesy! but couldnt help myself ! Ive read everyone being hyped to hear this song but soon as he dropped World is Mine...I wanted to leave tho..he mixed it with some vocals and i dunno , just didnt do it for me! VIP was ok , but you couldn't see the DJ at all , and the sound was Not so pleasent in back!

Moved over to tech room to wait for Armin to start! I was kinda tired at that point since ive been already dancing for the past 5 hours ! Was very cool to be there with Dj_Mischo which i havent seen in so long ! gd_nimrod which endured my whining all night , and ENJOY--> MY DJ WHORING PARTNER ! I failed tho this time, too tired so decided to leave at 8! Enjoy = dissapointed in the_devil!

Armin played good , not greattttt but goooooood! Enjoyed it...altought he seemed to interact much less with the people around him than usual...! But i must say his lil Dance Moves..Too cute !

Overall I had fun ! I danced ALOT ! I met some great new people! But just wasnt feeling the hype as i usually do at these events...
the_devil misses partying wiht Wisnia, Kane , Deluca and others!!!
