and to add in on whats already been said you smoke weed a bit differently than you smoke cigarette. People drag on cigs, but people suck down on weed like they going diving. So the increased amounts and increased time it has to get into your system do more damage on your system than one cig. Thats one reason people say weed is worse.

weed comes out of the ground. god put weed on this planet to be smoked.

cigarette smoke contains over 4000 chemical additives, 60 of which are known carcinogens, and 3 of which are radioactive. add fiberglass shards permanently embedded in your throat and lungs on top of that.

weed smoke is hotter and contains more tar than cigarettes unless smoked through a bong, vaporized or eaten. however a lot fewer inhalations are involved in smoking weed than with cigarettes.

weed is not physically addicting nor can the active drug kill you in high doses. thc vs nicotine.

weed smoke doesn't stink or linger.

weed has medical applications.

weed wins.

I've heard the radioactivity in cigarette ingredients is the main cause of lung cancer, but I don't know how true that is.

radiation mutates cells the same way non-radioactive carcinogens do. i believe the radiation comes from the fertilizer used in growing tobacco. there are of course "organic" cigarettes but no one really smokes those cause they're pretty weak

Haha...yeah I think I saw it on erowid, a radioactive ingredient in tobacco fertilizers, over a long period of time, is the main cause of lung cancer today, especially with folks who smoked during the 50s-60s-70s when we used some crazy ass incecticides.
