the feds don't give a shit about pirated software on your computer, unless your computer is a "0-day ftp site" server affiled by several noticable rip groups.
a more plausible version is that you were dumb enough to get some spyware on your pc
p.s. do a hijackthis (it's a freeware tool) run and posts the results here, if you want some help to troubleshoot.
