Once I see there is enough interest then I will narrow down the course and possible dates. Without at least 30 people interested then I'm not going to put the money upfront to book the tournament.
I would expect July or August for an actual date though.

Don't put ANY money down on your own. Make sure you collect whatever you need upfront.

most places will require at least a $300.00 deposit on booking. I have no problem in fronting that money as long as the people who say they will play after a date is booked are willing to share in that cost if the tournament is cancelled last minute.
Still early stages....like I said...if there is enough interest I will look into it further and make arrangements regarding possible dates and times.

I assume that the people who would want to participate by-and-large have their own clubs and should be able to afford email money transferring you $10 ($300/30 people). This way you're fully covered. I would hate for you to be short-changed the way Barry was for the cottage
