Surprisingly, I never acquired a hood ornament yet.

But wonder if PETA members mourn each time they take a drive in the summer when thousands of insects end up splattered across their cars.

I love hitting lightening bugs just after dusk. They make the coolest light patern smear across your windshield and the light lasts about 10 seconds so when you go through a big batch of them it makes pretty colours for a bit. I drive a lot at night and I need to find ways to entertain myself when I mp3 player battery is dead and I've already heard all of my cd's 100 times. Hitting lightening bugs is pretty entertainning for me when it happens. But boy are they ever a pain in the ass to clean off when you stop for gas.

i hit a rabbit, 2 geese, and a deer all within the same hour during a country field race a few years ago... the deer fucked my car up so badly i couldnt finish the race
