OK, so what some of you guys are saying is this.
One of my biggest worries is the well being of friends. Since I cannot change their actions I should not care?
caring about your friends is awesome marg.
but... worry vs concern.
concern is care and giving thought to the well-being of these people - but when it becomes worry that's when it starts to become a negative force, impacting you.
you can be concerned, and help in the ways you can - but you have to let go somewhat - in your mind - when you are beyond the means to help any further... can't let it get unhealthy (not sure of course to what extent your worries affect you).

I'm not sure if I'm worrying all the time, or just thinking. I constantly evaluate situations that myself or others are in, and obsess over the conclusions they come to.
Yet, I'm still relatively easygoing.

Im a big worrier.
I worry about my friends and loved ones alot, which is normal for most people.
I am making a huge effort to stop worrying about things I have no control over, it isnt worth my stress.

Would you consider stress and worry the same thing?
I think I get stressed more about things then I worry about how it is gonna be. So in that case though I would still rate myself in the middle.

So, since I don't need the stress from worrying, I just don't do it.
Shit happens. Life sucks sometimes.
Deal with it as it comes.
Worrying is not going to change that fact.
1000% (if thats possible) accurrate.
I can see ppl's concerns for others - not that i dont occasionally
think aboput other's problems - but honestly, worrying is one of the
WORST/stupid things in the world.
It does absolutely NOTHING but make things worse for yourself.
If it's not in my hands/control, i refuse to worry.
In the end, my worry level is 1, if that

Margs, not caring and not worrying are completely different things.

When it comes to friends and even family all you can do is help them when they ask for help, make sure they have all the information they need to make an educated decision and let them make their desicion but even if you don't agree with their decision support it and be there for support.
