Marco wrote us a letter to explain what happened.
When he got to the Atlanta Airport, he told the INS that he didn't have a work permit for the US because he was here on promotion and would not be paid for his services. INS asked him where and for whom he was playing and he could not remember the exact name of the venue so he took out his copy of the Contract. At this point the INS snatched it from him and began to read. The noted that he would in fact be getting payment. Marco told them that it was only to cover the price of hotel and Flight. They didn't take that too well and made their decision to send him back on the next flight out to AMS.

Well, looks like Marco isn't coming to the USA anytime soon...hehe, I sure wouldn't if they did that to me.

I'm pleased to also announce that Marco V *will* be returning to the US. His agency is in the process of repealling the US Customs' decision for the 10 year ban. I'll let you know when I receive more info from Marco V. But I'm not sure he will be attending his performance at Miami's WMC 2002 or not.

umm..they had a 10 year ban on him just cause he misstated facts a bit.
And after the september 11 th ..true the INS has had to beocme anal but this is ridiculous.Mind you...whoever said that your social status doesnt have any effect on the INS..no comment!
