Tiesto the King of the night!!!!
Like many of you I should up to this event with no ticket. I got there around 11pm and there was a sea of people outside, limos pulling up in front of Avalon as if it was the Oscar's or something. I was asking people in the front of the line what time they get there and was told 7pm. Now you know Tiesto is something special when people line up in front of a club at 7pm when doors didn't open until like 9pm.
Finally i get inside and the opening DJ was playing great stuff. Then I head for backstage and the dude from Departure starts singing "With out you near..." great track and that when I ran into Markus Schulz. What a great guy he is. Really Markus is a first class citizan.
Shortly after that the King of the night Tiesto gets on stage and Avalon erupts into a level like I've never seen it before. A level so high not even Sasha, Paul Van Dyk or Paul Oakenfold ever acheived at Avalon. The entire place went nutts!!!! The place was jammed pack. I'm glad I was back stage and not rubbing elbows with everyone.
For those that were there know exactly what I'm talking about. And for those that don't want to admit it, it's ok too because you embrace denial as part of your charecter.
Later in the night one of Tiesto's biggest fan Ron Artest shows up and high five's the King. Even big ballers have good taste in DJ's.
Tiesto continued the night feeding crowd great track after great track. The energy didn't end with Tiesto's last track because our very one Victor Dinaire got on the decks took control. I was very impressed with Victor.
For those that missed it, you blew a big one!!!
