First off, i'm not filthy rich, we escaped Iran as soon as the Iran-Iraq war finished and second of all, i know how most people in Iran feel. People i've known for a long time have turned to stealing and drugs, which i might add is a higher problem these days than it was when Shah was in power. When you go to Iran and say your from a Western country, they actually want listen to your stories cause they know because of their depressive situation under this regime, they cannot experience any of those.
Third the person that said that Islam came around 700AD. Well that's true but have you noticed that the wars with Persia after Islam was brought in, that they were losing more. Invasion was more problematic because they weren't too concerned with protecting Persia. I've heard of these stories that they were praying for god to strike them down rather than actually getting some balls together and go out and protect Persia with their fists. They haven't changed since Islam came into power, trust me these guys speak louder with their mouths than their fists.
We need proper leaders, i don't understand why you object to this.

His views arent realistic. This guy is living in the past.Things have changed ALOT since Shah.I understand that he is concerned but you have to look at the situation carefuly and getting rid of Islam wont solve a thing.
There are many muslims in Iran and they are not arabs or terrorists.Whats so evil about that?why should they be removed from the country? |
Mine aren't realistic? Well that's original. Look dude, stop saying Shah this, Shah that. I'm saying mostly Shah because he was the last king we had that actually wanted to revive most of the Persian beliefs. He wanted to make the country strong, make the country more modern and give everyone a fair chance; the same things that Cyrus The Great proclaimed. After Islam came into power, we did have kings like Pahlavi that wanted to revive the Persian way of life, but then we also had leaders like the mullahs in power of Persia who wanted a strict way of life. If history has told us anything, these mullahs will be out and a proper Persian leader will be in power in time.
And i'm not living in the past, i'm saying that if Iran was built to protect everyone, then thats how it should remain.
With the members of this board, i don't think "Cyrus" the member actually wants a bad Iran, he always wants these mullahs out of the country as much as everyone. I think most of his post become aggressive when someone says something bad about the country Iran rather than the regime itself. Alot of people are truly happy with the history of Iran even if it had hiccups along the way, so a attack on Iran rather than the leaders is sure to cause some attacks among many Iranians around the world, including myself. I don't understand hardcoretrancer though, he doesn't explain his attacks.
