I had a feeling he would... but I was worried it was going to be rammed. Sounds like it wasn't that bad, which sucks, cuz that's what kept me away. That 1st Docks appearance w/Miller was the last time I've seen him, swearing never to see him until he plays an arena. Was going to catch him in DC on the Tiesto in Concert tour, which never happened.
Oh well.

I got interrupted a few times during the Da Vinci Code by a rather excited Tiesto Clubgoer and she had a helluva time from the looks of it - The pics she sent from her brand spankin' new Mobile Phone were damned fine too!

I think you're right, Bro. When he *really* decides to give'er, he's apparently just unstoppable.. I'm lookin' forward to more reviews here!

No effin way! It's my awe of his December set that prevents me from seeing him again because I just know Tiesto will never be the same--especially after my disappointment from last summer

But it sounds like it was an awesome night so I may have to reconsider his next trip over...

Glad to hear you had so much fun!

Please tell me Sean Miller didn't "sell out" and play trance tracks to open for Tiesto, cuz if he did I may never look at him the same way again.

Part of me says go to a Tiesto night one night just to say I did, but the other part is asying no way to paying #50+ and be disappointed just cuz it's strictly Trance. Who knows, just have to wait and see.

On a side note, one Trance dj I wouldn't mind seeing if he ever got off his high horse is PVD. Don't know what he has against T.O. but he's due for a visit soon I hope.

well where do I begin...

The night started off a bit rough, when I found out the ticket I bought was actually the wrong one, and received a phone call at 8:45 informing me of the error........then the whole time I was in line at the docks I was paranoid my ticket wouldn't work....anyways, got in fine, and had a short wait b4 the main room was opened....was it was, the place filled up very quickly, luckily me and my buddy ended up in the 3d row, front and centre......good at the guv, DEATH at the docks

I spent most of the first half of the nite being pushed around by motherf*ckers who seemed like they came to the show just to puch people, and piss them off..........anyways, the music was outstanding, it was the first time I saw Tiesto live and the show was excellent, not the best I['ve seen this year, but he just has a way with his fans......we stayed right till the end, I forgot who played last, but we cheered on for his encore at like 7:30, to no avail....

after that,we took a cab back downtown and headed to the zone some fcukin BEATS!!.......it waqs my first time going there and it was a good experience, I didn't realize how much energy I had left over after tiesto, I just left about a half hour ago at 11......

all in all, great time at both places, meet some TA's at the docks, can't remember ur names, but Im sure I'll see u guys around again!

Alright I feel like I need to write a better review cause I just woke up and I am still pumped, ears are ringing, and I'm wishing I was still @ the Docks.

Drove down at around 9:15, doors didn't open until about 9:30. Absolutely FROZE my ass off in the line (why so cold on May24 weekend?!!?), but the docks security did a pretty good job at checking everyone in line really quickly and getting people in once the doors opened.

So, walked in quickly into the back room and the main section of the club was still closed off, you couldn't see what was there. Ran into techead, said hello but he was busy in last minute preparations. Finally at around 10 or so the doors opened and everyone just RAN to the stage - it was like one of those stadium concerts when they open the doors and people just run like crazy to catch a spot at the front. Long story short, the place was packed by 10:30.

Miller played an awesome set, and no he did not "sell out" and played a lot of great house/prog tracks. I can't believe he played Pete Heller's - Big Love...hahaha I kinda went crazy to that one.

The front stage had 2 huge curved "arms" with lights all over them and a huge screen with the ISOS 5 album cover was hanging in front of the stage. At 12 Tiricky T and I started losing it...the build up was just too much and by 12:30 we were screaming our heads off. We finally saw Tiesto through the screen (it was rather see through with all the lights), and the crowd went insane!!!

He started off playing one of the ISOS tracks with a nice melody going, and, as soon as the beat came on the screen drops from the ceiling to reveal an INCREDIBLE stage...lights, screens, the whole thing - Tiesto had a soft light behind him so it was ass in the theme of ISOS - really amazing. THEN the fun started at the front, and after about an hour of trying to survive it I've decided to head back.

The middle section was perfect, room to dance, lots of nice people, and incredible sound. It was definitely louder than last year as many have mentioned. Tiesto really seemed like he was enjoying himself up there as usual and he was actually taking lots of pictures with his own camera i think of the crowd and everything.

LOL...when I heard the first few sounds of Flight 643 I started losing it completely, yelling, jumping, and screaming - and people around me were staring at me and going "buddy wtf calm down lol"...but at soon as the driving beat came on and everyone realized what track that was the place erupted!

Speaking of Flight 643...the mix from the song before it, into Flight was the most incredible perfect match up of tracks I've ever heard, it was just...SO PERFECT!

YOU WANT A REVIEW !!!!?? I'LL GIVE YOU A REVIEW...

Wait let's see if I can hold it together, due to the fact I JUST GOT HOM E at 11:30am !!!

Got there at 10pm to find a short and sweet waiting line, coat check waiting line was also pretty short. They had the main room blocked off in order to get shit ready and control the massive crowd. Anyways ... walls opened at about 11. People rushed the stage (I one of them... finding myself in the 3rd row, sandwiched between people) Sean Miller dropped a wicked warmup set. Leading to the grand introduction of Tijs Verwest. A 50ft TIESTO : ISOS5 poster is dropped and lights and TV screens BLASTING outta every corner ! thousands of people screaming and jumping... At that point. It was absolute chaos ! Me and my buddy stayed up 2-3 row for 3/4 of his set until we had to leave in order to breathe. MOSH PIT WOULDNT DESCRIBE THE HAVOC IN THOSE FRONT ROWS. I've never !! Ever ! And I was front and center at Labour of Love last year. But never been shoved and pushed so much. But you know what... In the end, every push and shove was incorporated into my dance moves lol and i made the best out of them! Met with Sasha for the second time and a couple other TA's ! Cant remebmer ur names !! WICKED PEOPLE. Talked about "The New Tiesto..." And the fact that .. this set quite possibly be the year's best up to date. It was unreal.. even dropping Marcel Woods - Advanced. -- Two words : Moonlight Party = ULTIMATE MADNESS ! You cant imagine the people in that massive venue just losing their mind to that song. Anyways got some celly pics and videos i will upload later. I was suppose to meet up with Bossi but my phone fucking died from all the video work and i never got to meet up ! fuckin sucks man... Anyways, Tiesto played till 5:10 and to the best of my knowledge (at that point) I left at 7:15 ... after seeing Demi (I believe) destroy the fucking place with bomb after bomb. 2 encores... and putting up with the crowd screaming "One More Song... for about 10 mins". I left and forgot my brand new shirt on the coatcheck table... FUCK !!!! So that was Tiesto for me, but my night doesnt stop there... oh no. Headed to the Comfort Zone (huge fucking lineup... but took about 15 mins to get in) to see Addy and De-koze. GODDDDDAMMMM, Addy honestly is an inspiration to watch for any young dj out there. Unbelievable. I cant even guess out the mix and matches he's gonna pull right outta his hat! So stayed at the zone with my buddy till 11, walked out and had to take a cab home... 1 block down to Dundas. Reason ? FINISHED, FUCKIN DONE, OVERCOOKED... worst ever.

And now im here at home, writting this and thinking of DYING !!

Overall ratings

VENUE : 10/10 - so fucking smooth at the docks, in and out no problem. The lights were fucking ridiculous !!! they installed a photon since i had last went last summer. Strobe lights are probably best ones i've seen. Tiesto i think brought in his own shit... two decked out poles full of light beams and about 12 flat screens pretty much at every angle you would look. the sounds was absolutely stellar. so fuckin loud and clean... couldnt have been tweaked better. BAR SERVICE = SUPER FAST

CROWD : 8/10 - wicked crowd, love packed venues... but this .. in that area where i was in, was not right.... felt like i wrestled gino's all night and and!!! had to apologize to about 4-5 girls because the dudes behind us kept pushing everyone back and forth to the point where one poor girl was almost caught in a stampede of screaming Woodbrigers. :P

SEAN MILLER . CARLO LIO . VINYL JUNKIES : 9/10 (sick sick beats, even good enough to make me ignore the violent crowd around me)

TIESTO : 10/10 seriously... i use to like tiesto in his magik days. i loved the isos 1,2,3 albums. 4 just disapointed me... but like everyone has said in this review. THE MAN HAS COMPLETELY REDEEMED HIMSELF. THIS IS TIESTO V-3.0

TRACKS : WAY TOO MANY AMAZING TRACKS TO EVEN START LISTING. TEARS FROM THE MOON...643 (THE INSANE FUCKING MASHUP/SLICED UP/SASHIMIED VERSION THAT HE PLAYED)MOON LIGHT PARTY, MARCEL WOODS' ADVANCED, LETHAL INDUSTRY...EVEN JUST BE at the end. THE WHOLE TRACKLIST was mint.

OVERALL RATING : THIS ONE IS GOING IN THE BOOKS IN TOP 10 BEST SHOWS.

....anyways ? how was freedom, LOL ?
