i just noticed that its only one polyphony for each part and no eg

so i think the mc 505 is a better choice

I don't really like my JX-305 all that much (which is a 505 in disguise and no magic beam). a hardware groove machine perhaps isn't the way to go. A pc with sequencer together with a nice synth is more intresting. I still think the sounds coming out of the JX305 is sucky, even when enriched with external fx (since the ones inside are so thin)
