how do you guys like this, i mean, yeah we all have opinions, but this is so damn generic!!! It’s a typical fluff uplifter that just throws in a piano to make people go, ohh wow a piano! this is uplifting stuff!!
come on...this does nothing interesting at all…very generic, not as bad as Helsinki Scorchin, but close.
i dont know, i guess im just disappointed that trance heads go for this crap |
it has melody that would strike a very nice chord with the majority of people. I guess if you're a hard tech-trance or electro or minimal guy (i don't know you personally so i'm not saying that's true), you'd probably see past that.
On the other hand, Smith & Pledger - White is a typical uplifting trancer, but with no interest to its melody. It's plain and boring to me, as I find its melody incoherent and jumpy. But Super8 really producer clear, strong, emotional riffs that you can FEEL.

yes this is a typical trancer! , but this is a near perfekt written trancer, I think.
It has all the well-known elements and structure of a typical trance track, but this just stands out of the mass, because it is so well produced! and the people who likes that kind of "typical" trance, will definitely love this track!

well, im def not a minimal guy thats for sure...tech trance can be good, but im not big on it either
the deal is, to me this track is far far far away from being original or unique...its been done before too many times, and much more importantly, to me, its not produced well...nothing stands out. Its very standard. bassline is whatever, melody is whatever, everything in this track is just weak.
if a track is gonna get to me, its gotta do something interesting and not sound like it was put together in a few days using the typical anjunabeats/asot formula for trance...cus to me, anjunabeats/asot sound is just that, weak...plain old weak
but again, that's me

I agree 100% this track is a lot of the same with nothing new to offer. In other words, generic. My guess is that the fans of this track go nuts over the watery synths which have been featured in some truly great trance music in the past. Music that I can't remember at the moment.
