Rugby requires lots of strategy, but with football (American), there is a much larger risk of injury than rugby. Why? In rugby, most tackles are made within a short distance of each player, whereas in football, players usually run a long distance before tackling. Try getting headbutted in the kneecap by someone wearing a football helmet after a 10 second dash.
