yeah all the technical aspects of shooting and editing was to come later (even tho I had already learned a lot from HS), but i just didnt feel learning about all the symbology of independent films was worth sitting through. It was just so uninteresting and I felt dumb because there were enough of those types of kids taking the clases who could see all the bullshit symbology pretty clearly. Whenever I was called on about something I was like...
